Attendees will find hundreds of the season's newest collections in permanent Showrooms and Exhibitor Show Areas located throughout the CMC.

We browsed several Tradeshow areas, including SELECT, a curated brand showcase for Contemporary Apparel, Accessories, and Footwear.

Then we hit SHAPE, the Athleisure Tradeshow for Active, Yoga, Swim & Athleisure Apparel and Accessories.

Finally, we strolled through TRANSIT, a shoe show which showcased footwear brands created for the West Coast Fashion Buyer.

1st Annual Kaaboo Del Mar Music Festival: Trend Recap

Kaaboo Del Mar: what's trndING?

Our team of analysts hit the street this past weekend at the 1st Annual Kaaboo Del Mar Music Festival.

Headliners included No Doubt, Zac Brown Band, and The Killers. However, the undercard was just as captivating. We enjoyed performances from Snoop Dogg, Girl Talk, Young the Giant, Brandi Carlile, and so many more.

This was not your ordinary music festival. Along with world class musical entertainers, we experienced incredible cuisine from vendors such as Searsucker, craft beers from local breweries, inspiring contemporary art from artists such as Celeste Byers and Aaron Glassen, and comedic relief from the legendary Joel McHale.

When it comes down to it, you know what we were most excited for..... the fashion!! Below is a recap of the top ten festival trends we encountered during our weekend at Kaaboo.

1. Festival Fringe

2. Bohemian (Kaaboho)

3. Florals (Garden Variety)

4. 90's Child

5. Denim Cut-Offs

6. Fashion Backpacks

7. Fringe Bags

8. Brim Hats

9. Reflective Sunnies

10. Round Lenses

A special thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible! We will see you next year Kaaboo!

What's trndING?? Fall Fashion Week - Wk 1 Roundup

NY Fashion Week went off with a bang as the Spring collections wow and inspire from all trend perspectives!!

Out the gates color leads the way as Perfect White, Fire Oranges, and beautiful shades of Cognac own the shows of Ralph Lauren and Karen Walker. We see fabrics and textures playing a big role through gorgeous, sheer black laces and statement Metallics. Print Mixing has never been done better, and it’s no surprise that Diane Von Furstenburg and Anni Sui are clearly doing it best with print movement and colorways that are salable and flattering! We continue to watch as key items emerge out of the top shows, noticing sexy, sleek Slip Dresses to be the #1 recognized must-have piece thus far.

trnd will continue to keep our finger on the pulse as Fashion Week continues it’s global tour!

trnd Travel: Baja California, Mexico

Tucked away in a secluded resort in Baja California, the natural beauty of Mexico was truly revealed during our stay at Las Olas. Gorgeous views of traditional architecture and open seaside left us inspired and awed.

The resort was very peaceful and gorgeous with amazing views around every corner

There were many beautiful plants around the resort!

The Mexican homes to our left had the most stunning architecture. Their red roofs against the colors of the cliffside were enough to leave any "palette junkie” inspired and in complete awe.
